Corona La Costa Park
Corona La Costa Park
There is a paved parking lot at the southern end of the Corona La Costa Park, which is accessible from Hataca Road. Overnight parking, golfing, and skateboarding are not permitted at the park. There is a large sandbox in the northeast corner and an oval sidewalk in the middle. Otherwise, it is largely open grass area with no restrooms. Dogs are permitted on leashes consistent with local laws.
The sidewalk branches west toward La Costa Canyon Park. Although it is adjacent to the Corona La Costa development and its park, La Costa Canyon Park is owned and operated by the City of Carlsbad. It has a sand volleyball court, two lighted tennis courts, a lighted basketball court, picnic areas with barbecues, a childrens' play area with equipment and sand, and restrooms. Dogs are not permitted in this city park.

Corona La Costa Trail
The trail runs east-west under the SDG&E power lines between Cadencia Street and the northeast corner of La Costa Canyon Park. Starting at Cadencia Street, the trail branches off into multiple trails that go to La Costa Canyon Park and beyond. There is also an entrance off Verde Avenue that runs between two of the residential lots. See the map on the Home page for the location of the entrance.

Recreational Vehicle Storage Lot
This fenced, locked parking lot includes 15 spaces for recreational vehicles. It is accessible from Cadencia Street across the street from the Corona La Costa Trail for members to park a recreational vehicle based on the RV Storage Area Rules and Regulations. Allowed vehicles include registered, licensed, and operational RVs, trailers, campers, motorcycles, dune buggies, boats, and personal watercraft. An additional quarterly assessment of $90 is applied to 14 of the 15 spaces, and one smaller space is $60 per quarter.
Requests for a space should be made in writing using the RV Storage Request form to the Community Manager. If there are no spaces available, you will be placed on a "first-come-first-served" waiting list.
